Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a dumpster rental through dumpsterfayettevillenc.com, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service with Fayetteville Dumpster Rental ("Company"). Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

2. Rental Period

• Each rental includes up to 5 calendar days from the delivery date
• Extensions are available at $25/day — contact us before your pickup date
• Failure to schedule a pickup within the rental period may result in additional holding fees
• The Company will attempt to contact you before charging any extension fees

3. Weight Limits & Overage Fees

• 10-yard: 1 ton included
• 15-yard: 2 tons included
• 20-yard: 3 tons included
• Overages are billed at $65 per ton (or portion thereof)
• We will notify you of any overages before charging additional fees

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited in all dumpsters. Violation may result in additional fees, removal charges, and liability for any resulting fines or cleanup costs:

• Hazardous waste of any kind
• Paint, solvents, and chemical containers (even empty)
• Motor oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze
• Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
• Tires (any quantity)
• Propane tanks and compressed gas cylinders
• Batteries (car batteries, lithium batteries)
• Refrigerants and items containing Freon
• Medical or biological waste
• Electronics (TVs, computers, monitors) — contact us for e-waste disposal options
• Radioactive materials
• Dead animals or biological material

Customer assumes full liability for any fines, penalties, or disposal costs arising from prohibited materials placed in the dumpster.

5. Placement & Property Damage

• Customer is responsible for designating a safe, accessible placement location
• The Company is not liable for minor surface damage (driveway scuffs, lawn depressions) caused by normal dumpster delivery and pickup
• Customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits for street placement
• Do not overload the dumpster beyond its walls — debris must not extend above the top rim
• Customer is responsible for ensuring no utilities (cables, pipes) run under the placement area

6. Payment & Cancellations

• Full payment is collected at the time of booking
• Cancellations made 24+ hours before delivery: Full refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery: 50% refund
• Same-day cancellations (day of delivery): No refund
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days

7. Military Discount

The $25 military discount (code: FORTLIBERTY) is available to active duty military, veterans, and immediate family members of active duty personnel stationed at Fort Liberty. The Company reserves the right to verify eligibility and recoup the discount if misused.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company's total liability to Customer for any claim arising from a rental shall not exceed the amount paid for that rental. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in Cumberland County, NC.
